Rhonda Marie Rathel

Rhonda M. Rathel, 44, of Jonesboro passed Monday, July 11, 2022. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 20, 12:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 230 Arnold Street, Hapeville, GA 30354. The Celebration of Rhonda's life will be from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the social hall of the church. Rhonda was born August 20, 1977 in Albany, Georgia. The family relocated to Jonesboro in 1984. Rhonda was employed at Volare Wine and Bistro in Hapeville. Rhonda worked in the service industry for over 20 years and enjoyed meeting people, especially those from different states and countries and learning a little history along the way. Rhonda was proceeded in death by her father, Ronnie W. Rathel. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Mary Ann (Ferguson) Johnson; brother, Christian L. Rathel; companion, Cornelius (Neo) Lewis, aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur babies, Stella and Stewie, the love of her life.
