Daniel Roy Bogdan

FOREST PARK, GA – Daniel R. Bogdan, 63, of Bimini Drive, died unexpectedly on October 5, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Bogdan was born on March 30, 1960 in Chicago, IL, the son of Barbara J. (Svedman) Parkhurst and the late William Bogdan.  He received his education from Herkimer High School and furthered his education at Siena College.  He was employed by Georgia Communications for over 30 years.  After the loss of his partner, Gordon Fulmer, Daniel started Table Top Fountains Plus, an online fountain store.  Mr. Bogdan loved his family and all animals; he was a proud supporter of the ASPCA.  He also enjoyed acting and participated in several high school plays.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Parkhurst of Herkimer, NY; two sisters, Gayle Schultz of Poland, NY, and May Bogdan of Utica, NY; three nephews, Daniel and Chad Durham, and Ebon Schultz; and a special friend and former co-worker, Joe O’Neil.  In addition to his father, William, Daniel was predeceased by a brother, Steven Bogdan, and his partner, Gordon Fulmer.

There will be no public services.  Inurnment will take place in Poland Cemetery, In Poland, NY at the convenience of the family.  His care entrusted to HOPE Funeral Home, 165 Carnegie Place, Fayetteville, GA 30214 (770) 461-9222.
